# Levi's Learning > Levi's Learning is a UK web app for secondary school pupils aged 11 to 16 (Years 7 to 11). Levi teaches Maths, Science and English in short interactive lessons built around each child's interests, one question at a time, and every finished lesson pays into a cartoon city the child runs. Levi is an AI tutor, not a human; parents get a separate dashboard and can read every lesson. Seven-day free trial, no card needed. ## Who it is for - Secondary school (high school) pupils aged 11 to 16, Years 7 to 11 - Families home schooling (home educating) their children - Pupils doing extra learning at home alongside school - Pupils revising for GCSE exams in Years 10 and 11, including exam technique and timed practice - Children who struggle with mainstream school, including many with ADHD, autism or dyslexia: lessons are one to one, as short as ten minutes, one question at a time, and pause and resume; parents read every conversation ## Subjects - Three core subjects: Maths, Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics taught separately) and English - Each subject starts from the foundations and builds up step by step - The course follows the AQA specifications. Pupils taking GCSEs can work towards six: Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and English Literature - English Literature texts: Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, the AQA Power and Conflict poetry anthology, and unseen poetry - A Money and Business course (not a GCSE): payslips, tax and National Insurance, budgeting, saving, mortgages and rent, and running a small business, practised for real in My city ## How a lesson works 1. Watch: an optional video chosen by the parent, which can be rewatched at any time 2. Learn: Levi explains one idea and asks a question on it, with hints and a different explanation if needed 3. Talk: the pupil explains the idea back in their own words 4. Check: a few fresh questions, answered without help Lessons last about 20 minutes (parents choose the length) and carry on from the same place if left partway through. A topic is marked secure once the pupil can still do it a few days later, and short recap questions on earlier topics return after about a week, three weeks and two months. Pupils have a My lessons history, grouped by day, showing what each lesson covered. ## Exam craft for GCSE - Exam tips inside lessons where they apply: show your working for method and accuracy marks, write the setup on calculator papers, formula then working then units in science calculations, how to handle four-to-six mark questions, PEE/PEEL analysis paragraphs and planning for creative and transactional writing - Command words: a plain reference (describe, explain, compare, evaluate and so on) and a quick drill - Examiner-style marking: longer answers are marked against mark points and method lines, with a checklist afterwards showing which were met - Exam practice: a timed block of 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes in one subject or mixed, built from GCSE topics already studied, marked like a paper with a score, technique notes and next steps ## Other features - Ask Levi: help at any point in a lesson that teaches the idea and hands the question back rather than giving the answer - Personal interests: parents list what their child enjoys and Levi uses it in his examples and conversations - Quests: hands-on projects such as stripping a bike or building an electromagnet, linked to the topics they use - Finances: practice money earned from finished lessons, paid with a payslip, tax and weekly bills; an account, savings, shares, a list of owned properties, and a plain income-and-outgoings page - My city: a cartoon isometric town run on that money. Pupils walk round it, buy and run businesses (lemonade stand, car wash, bike shop, cafe, garage, arcade) with staff, supplies and upgrades, buy houses with cash or a mortgage and choose tenants, and deal with events such as fires, repairs, unpaid rent, staff quitting, tax day, inspections and house-price moves. Every problem has a cheaper route that uses maths, English or science. A Workshop buys broken items to fix and sell. All money is pretend; all sums are real and marked on the server ## For parents - Progress in each subject and whether the pace is on track - Every lesson's full conversation, scores and a short note from Levi, grouped by day with subject and flagged-only filters - Settings for interests, timetable, lesson length and pinned videos - A built-in guide explaining every label ## Price and trial - 7-day free trial for every family, with everything included. No card is needed; if it is not for you the trial simply ends - After the trial: 50 pounds (GBP) a month for the first child and 40 pounds a month for each additional child - Everything is included at that price: all three subjects for Years 7 to 11, Levi, exam practice and command words, My city, Finances, quests and the parent dashboard. No extras, no add-ons - Rolling monthly, no contract, cancel at any time from the Account tab in the parent dashboard - Each child has their own login, their own lessons at their own level and their own city ## Facts that are often asked - Levi is an AI tutor, not a human. Every conversation is saved for the parent to read - Levi does not give answers. Ask for help and he teaches the bit that is needed, then hands the question back - Lessons are about 20 minutes (adjustable; as short as 10) and can be stopped and resumed - The money in My city is pretend; the sums (pay, tax, bills, interest, rent, repayments) are worked out properly on the server - Works in a web browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. Nothing to install - UK curriculum, AQA specifications. Suitable for home education, learning alongside school, and GCSE revision ## Links - Home: https://levislearning.com/ - Money skills and My city: https://levislearning.com/money/ - Full description for AI systems: https://levislearning.com/llms-full.txt - Start a free trial or log in: https://levislearning.com/app/ - Contact: support@levislearning.com
